Kerstin Fischer
After searching for a teacher for several years, I began studying with Pamela in 2005. The past seven years have been an extraordinary time of growth and refinement with my voice; thanks to Pamela and her distinctive techniques, I have learned to understand and control my instrument as never before. One of her greatest strengths as a teacher is her ability to extract the most subtle weakness, and put that problem into language that allows me to feel and/or hear it too so that I can work on solving it. Pamela possesses a treasure trove of repertoire knowledge for students to draw upon, but is equally eager to dive into new pieces brought to her by her students. She approaches teaching with great professionalism, compassion, and a little sense of humor, which together create a comfortable environment for singers of all abilities.
